The Purple Room Open Mic
The Purple Room helped run CaRaVaN Open Mic + Open Stage – from 2013 to 2015 as its physical venue, and then for another decade as one of its producers.
While we’ve moved on from our direct relationship with CaRaVaN (an open mic that started in 2011 and continues on) we still run an open mic!
From September to May, The Purple Room hosts an open mic one Sunday a month at X-Cues Café & Lounge with a featured performer/host kicking off every night. From late June through the end of August, we’ll return to Old Market Square to once again take over the Cube on Monday nights for a weekly edition of The Purple Room at the Cube.
All events will run 7–10 PM, with sign up at 6:30 PM. We also plan to continue livestreaming most of our open mics on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Check our schedule for up-to-date details.
