The Purple Room Open Mic
Beginning 12 years ago, the Purple Room helped run CaRaVaN Open Mic + Open Stage – for a couple years as its physical venue, and then as one of its producers.
While we’ve moved on from our direct relationship with CaRaVaN – which started in 2011 and continues on – we still plan to host open mics! We’ll begin hosting a monthly open mic this fall with a featured performer and host, which will run one Sunday a month through May (location TBD). Then from late June through August, we’ll return to Old Market Square to once again taken over the Cube on Monday nights for a weekly edition of The Purple Room at the Cube.
All events will run 7–10 PM, with sign up at 6:30 PM. We also plan to continue livestreaming most of our open mics on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Check our schedule for up-to-date details.
